This project mixes live percussion with voltage control, and vintage analogue synthesis with digital techniques.

The 2009 THE AMBiENT PiNG performance at CENtRAL on July 14 (Bastille Day) at 9:30 p.m. will feature a set of live, solo percussion with a backdrop of electronic and environmental soundscapes.

This show's suite of eight short electroacoustic pieces uses an exotic collection of percussion instruments and handmade digital tracks:
1, Synpship Launch - Introducing the thorn's vibratory experimental plan.
2, Sophie Was Here - Feline-inspired soundscape from a day in September 2008.
3, Vibix - Live interaction with bowed vibraphone loops.
4, Vitamin BX20 - Classic reverb with bell sound decays.
5, La Bastille - Solo electric violin replicated to orchestral dimensions.
6, Cicada Dads - Insect vibrations with mikrophonic enhancements.
7, Jeju 6:57 a.m. - Return to the waterworld at sunrise.
8, Synpship Re-entry.

8 p.m. door. Come early to enjoy the opening show, KINDER ATOM at 8:30. $6 suggested (or PWYC) covers both shows.
